For those who love a good math problem...Upgrading to AP from discounted ticket

I read through Robo's first few posts about ticket upgrades. Please help me work through the math and let me know if I am accurate.
We purchased 5 8-day park hoppers in early October 2018 for $2471 from UT. We plan to use them in June 2019.
4 of the 5 of us plan to return for the RunDisney Princess event in Feb 2020, so I am trying to see if upgrading to AP is worth it.

Current AP is $952.11 (including tax), so times 4 people is $3808.44.

If I divide my current 8 day park hopper by 5 I get $484.34 each, times 4 people is $1937.36.
But when I look up the archived tickets price for 8 day hopper its $532.50 times 4 people it's $2130.
(I think it "bridges" to the $2130 amount if I am understanding correctly??)

I would spent $175 for 7 days of parking (assuming I have to pay for the first day before I upgrade)
I would spend $876 in Feb 2020 for 4 2-day non hoppers (assuming no price increase)

So, my current cost would be $2130+$175+$876=$3181

Looks like I am still better off to NOT upgrade to AP as $3181 is cheaper than current AP of $3808.44

Even if I factor in $100 in dining savings and $169 for memory maker...

Am I thinking this through correctly? Miss anything?

Looks like you are calculating correctly. I think it is because you are only doing 2 day non hoppers in 2020 making it not worth the annual pass.
