GAC at TDR?

My wife and DD5 are planning a trip to TDR over the Thanksgiving break. Due to some severe sensory issues, we usually get a GAC at Disneyland to help my daughter cope with the crowds better. I've read some vague references to GACs at TDR, but was hoping to get some more concrete information.

Are there GACs offered at TDR? If so, are they roughly equivalent to the accommodations given at Disneyland or WDW? It's possible for us to make the trip without one; we just need to know what to expect so we can prepare adequately.

Yes, they have GAC at TDR. I don't know what the accommodations are at the other resorts as I've never been with someone who used one. At TDR they act like an extra fastpass and I assume there is also the parent swap capability. (My friend was in a wheelchair so we also used a separate entrance for some things.) The customer service at TDR is amazing, just ask for the GAC at guest relations and I'm sure they will help you out.
 
Thanks for the info! By 'extra fastpass,' do you mean that the GAC basically takes the place of a regular FP for everyone in our party? We'd just enter the FP line without actually having to pull a FP in the morning? That's pretty similar to how it can be used at the other resorts.

Not exactly, the way it works is you are asked what specifically the assistance is needed for which determines what will be covered in the GAC card. Then when you would like to experience an attraction you show the card to the cast and they will write the return time determined by the length of the line. When you return to the attraction you usually do not enter the FP line they will escort you to the loading area, sometimes separate from the normal queue area depending on the need of assistance. You have to wait until after riding the attraction to reserve another attraction wait time or if you change your mind you can cancel the previous attraction appointment. Also keep in mind the number of your party that can ride with the GAC is limited, this includes parade or show viewing areas if that is included in the assistance you need.

Thanks! This seems exactly like what would help us most, as it's not the waiting that causes problems; it's being in enclosed queues with crowds of people around that usually triggers a meltdown.
 
Note that you can still get a regular FP for attractions - that was what I meant by "extra" - so you could have two at once, essentially, with the GAC. That would reduce your queue time and hopefully some meltdowns would be avoided as a result! The CMs will help you have a great time.
