Greenburg is still around? LoL We dealt with him 5 years ago. My parents were less than thrilled with the company. I was not thrilled either with the crappy golf cart rental and the trailer they gave them. Unless I know the campground, he should of tossed a hitch lock on it. Put the key in a lock box so the driver can access it when it comes time to move.

Good luck to any trailer rentals out there.

Was thinking that was coming based on what we were hearing.

Theft of travel trailers? I thought it was repossession. Oh well, hate to hear this happening to anyone. Hopefully it won't mess others up too bad.

His claim is they were stolen and then sold by CAMPERS WORLD. He is now doing business under the name ELITE

This story just wont't go away. I expect Disney will get involved to some extent. Word is Disney is doing what they can to accommodate people that have arrived to find the camper they rented is no longer available and the company they rented from has shut their doors and slithered off into the night.
The Orange County Consumer Affairs dept has an OPEN investigation into this and is aware of Elite Camper Rentals association with Greenberg Rental. They are reach out asking that if you were a victim of them to contact them as soon as humanly possible. According to them Mr Greenberg is currently out of the country in an unknown location

I really feel for the people who have been cheated by this dishonest person! Even though it's not their responsibility to do so, it would be nice if Disney had a way to notify people with reservations with Greenberg AND Elite that they should consider other arrangements as their trailer (apparently) isn't 100% guaranteed. I guess Disney could ban Greenberg/Elite and then sending a blanket email to all campers saying that those vendors will not be allowed on property.

Disney is always so good about trying to help people in emergencies like that. For me part of the problem would be that we budget for buying groceries and eating at least breakfast and and a few other meals in the trailer, especially on 'down days'. It can be a real cost saver. Ending up in a hotel and having to buy 3 meals a day would really cramp our style souvenir budget.
