Have you ever been locked in anywhere?

Not really locked in, but when we moved to our new office, our secure cash room had an issue with the door handle. You could open it with your badge from the outside, but if you were inside, the handle wouldn't work to let you out. I was in the room and the door stop gave way, and I had to knock on the door until someone heard and let me out. It took a couple weeks to get it fixed, and I still don't feel comfortable being in there with the door shut on the weekends when I am the only one in the office working. We have a similar set up to the PP, a secure door to get into our section of the building, and then a second secure door to the cash room. Access to our section of the building is extremely limited, and to the cash room, even more so. So even if there was another employee working on the weekend, the odds of them having access to our section, let alone the cash room door, are slim to none.

When I was pretty young I got locked in my brother's bedroom and the lights were off. I was panicking/upset and I don't know why my family couldn't get the door open. My older sister crawled out her bedroom window onto the screened in porch's roof and went into my brother's room through the window and saved me - lol. I had to be 6 or so but I still remember it. Guess I was scared.

Once in the doctor's office and once in the dentist. The drs. office was at the infertility specialist - the nurse came in and took all my vitals and prepped me, then I waited, and waited, and waited, and finally got dressed and came out into a completely dark medical practice. I guess she had forgotten to tell the dr. there was one more patient for the day.

One time at the dentist I was in the chair and had my cleaning done, and then the dentist never came. Again I waited for a long time, and then came out to realize that the entire office had closed up for lunch. They'd all gone out to celebrate a birthday or retirement or something, and I just sat there and waited until they all came back. I was pretty mad that they just sort of blew it off and didn't apologize, so I never went back there.

My friend and I were locked in a motel room (Holiday Inn) in Branson, Missouri many years ago. The doorknob was bad. The front desk had to send someone over to let us out.

I got locked in the beach. I was walking the beach on my phone. When I got back to my car and read the sign that the gates close at 8 I realized the gates had been closed. Good thing I knew what town I was in and looked up the local police dept phone number. When I called they told me it could be an hour. I was like this is a small town and not much going on. Lol. When the officer arrived he told me he saw my car and figured I was still there. I was just glad to get out of the beach. :beach:
