HHI studio room request question

Just booked a studio at HHI for Oct. '14, first time staying at this resort. We're looking for a quiet room location, preferably marsh-view. Walking distance to amenities is not important, just wondering if there is a location/building we should request that is more laid back and will feel like we are getting away from it all.

We've always loved the top floor of the main lodge. Also, building 18 has beautiful marsh views. The one advantage of the main lodge is that in building 18, you're on the first floor and the footsteps above you can be VERY loud. And next year may be even worse, as the current carpeting is due to be switched out with wood floors in spring 2014. The main lodge, and the attached building 12, is the only place where the studios can be on the top floor. In all the other buildings (16, 18, 19, 28, and 30), the studios are on the first floor. We've also been in studios in buildings 19 and 28-no marsh view. We love the main lodge!

Let me just add that the resort is fairly small. No matter where you stay you are within easy walking distance of the amenities.

If you want quiet and marsh view you do not want the villa right next to the shuffleboard/campfire area. We had friends that stayed there over T'giving and they said it was loud.

It's a great place to visit. My family just loves it there. Enjoy your stay!
