Highs and Lows - 23-27 Oct 17

We arrived back on Saturday after a few days in the magic. We had a fantastic time and shared the magic with friends who thoroughly enjoyed their time. The Park looks amazing to celebrate the 25th Anniversary and Frontierland looks brilliant all dressed up for Halloween.

Highs

• The improvements to POTC. They have made our favourite ride even better.
• The new parade. Particularly the dragon. WOW!!!
• The sheer number of opportunities for meet and greets.
• The appearance of the park and the lack of closures.
• Illuminations. Not as good as Dreams but a close second!
• Frontierland dressed for Halloween. Brilliant.
• Mickey the Magician. Fantastic production.

Lows

• The lack of official photographers at the meet and greets. If you are going to charge E69 for a Photopass please provide ample opportunity to use it!
• Smoking in lines/parade. It has never been an issue on our previous 10 trips but it was far more noticeable this time.
• Mickey the Magician. Every show was full early during our visit. Fortunately arriving an hour before the show sorted that. It shows that having only one show instead of Anamagique/Cinemagique is a bit of a faux pas.

Hopefully I haven't forgotten anything!

Sounds like such a lovely trip.
I'm soooooooo looking forward to seeing Mickey and the Magician. Good to know we'll have to be early to see it.

That’s interesting on Mickey and the Magician. We tried to watch it on 24 October, got there 5 minutes before the show started and were the 2nd family that didn’t get in - maybe different show times are more busy.
