Hilton Head fireworks? in may?

Will Hilton Head have fireworks in mid may? I'm going there on my honeymoon next year just wondering

I don't think so...the Shelter Cove Tuesday night celebrations (of which the fireworks are a part) are basically from Memorial Day to Labor Day -- although they may end a little earlier in August since schools in the South go back so darned early!

We were at HH during the week of 8/21 ad the last fireworks of the year were scheduled to be on 8/23. Unfortunately, they were rained out. We saw them moving the fireworks barge out of the area later that week.

I agree, you won't see them--they are a summer thing only. However, while you'll be missing the fireworks, you'll also be missing a lot of the summer crowds. Well worth the trade IMO. Happy Honeymoon!!!!

We have been in late May, and unfortunately there were no fireworks for us. We have been in early June, and I think Harbour nights start then, as well as fireworks. Have fun!
