My husband and I will be in Hong Kong for three nights next March, prior to joining a cruise all the way back to the UK. We will be staying at the Kerry Hotel.

Firstly is it easy enough to get to Disneyland from the Kerry? Should we get a taxi or the MTR?
Are entry passes REALLY only 100 HK$ for 65+ adults?
Is very early March a good time next year?

Thanks for any advice.

Yes, it looks like senior citizen ticket is about $100 HKD for 1 day and $170 for 2 days.

The MTR from Kerry Hotel would require 2 stops. Go to Hung Hom MTR station, take the West Rail Line to Nam Cheong, change to Tung Chung Line to Sunny Bay, then change to Disneyland Line to Disneyland. If you think this will give you trouble, you can take a taxi.

Very helpful, thank you. We only just qualify for the senior rate - but every dollar saved.....

Definitely take the MTR. If it's your first time visiting HKDL, the Disneyland Resort line alone would be a fun experience. It should take maybe 40 minutes or so.

Early March will probably be the tail end of the Chinese New Year event. If you want to take pictures of characters in Chinese style outfits, this is a great time to visit. The unfortunate thing about visiting in early 2019 is that the castle renovation isn't expected to finish until at least summer 2019 so there will be no fireworks.
