Hop on Hop off Bus LA

Any recommendations for hop on hop off bus for LA and the surrounding areas to use?

Have you looked at the HOHO website? It lists the different routes and which sites are included on each one. You could just pick whichever route hits the most sites you want. I know that one of the pick up/drop off points is Hollywood & Highland. That location is very convenient: Walk of Fame in front, Chinese Theatre next door (with famous footprints), Dolby Theatre inside (home of the Academy Awards Ceremony), Photo Op for the Hollywood Sign on an upper level, Disney's El Capitan Theatre across the street, Ghirardelli Soda Fountain next door to that, validated parking (ask at any shop or restaurant in the H&H center), etc.
