Hi again-
I have read in different trip reports/hotel threads about people who reserve one room but upon check-in were upgraded to concierge level/better tower/etc.
Do they do these upgrades when the hotels are not crowded? Is this something you end up paying extra for? Or since they have the room, they give it to you for the same price? Is there something I should ask the front desk specifically to try to get this treatment? (I know there have been situations where there were problems and someone was upgraded. I am not the type to complain so those aren't the situations I'm referring to.)
FYI we are staying at DLH next Mon-Wed and simply asked for 2 connecting standard rooms. I am happy to just be staying there but hey, doesn't hurt to ask, right?
