How busy is Beaches n Cream later in the evenings?

We'll be staying at Boardwalk on Sat/Sun/Mon evenings and one of the nights I'd love to bring our kids over to Beaches n Cream just to get an ice cream or dessert (they'll have had dinner several hours earlier). Haven't been able to grab an ADR yet but keeping an eye out. That said, if it's usually still crazy say after 8 p.m., I guess our better option might be just Ample Hills. I was kind of hoping with the new seating space there might be more availability for walk-ups.

Any recent experience with walking in there since reopening?

We haven't been since they expanded, but it was still busy after 8 when we've been in the past. I assumed that a lot of people are like us, and go after they leave the parks at night. We have been able to get last minute reservations a day or two before. I would keep trying.

They used to have a walk-up area where you could order a limited menu selection. The kitchen sink was not included in those options, so we never used the walk-up.

I'm thinking both the B&C and Ample Hills are probably pretty busy through closing time, especially during hot weather.:)

I have eaten there a few times in the evening. Each time, both the dining room and the ice cream line have been packed

Use touringplans reservation finder tool. I’ve gotten many reservations that way. Persistent checking, especially the week of, has also worked many times. The easiest time to find any reservation is the evening before as people finalize plans.

Thanks all! I will put it in the touring plans tool. I guess the walk up window would be fine too as I don't think we'd be doing a Kitchen Sink or anything. One of my children has allergies and the cookie fries would be okay for him so that sparked the interest at Beaches & Cream to begin with... but guessing those likely aren't available walk up either, though maybe they'd make an exception.

Also @FoodieFriend - thank you so much for the heads up on the Dolphin. The kids will be hanging out with relatives at Swan/Dolphin for a bit and I didn't even know they had an ice cream spot.

My DS also has allergies, so instead of taking a chance with any of the ice cream parlors, we stick to Mickey Bars or Mickey Sandwiches for him. They’re both peanut/tree nut safe! Have fun and enjoy!

B&c is even busier at night than during the day. Don’t even try after Epcot fireworks

i am a fountain fan. Has a similar menu and I live that they have soft serve and hard scoop

the apple pie sundae has aa apple pie slice, vanilla soft serve and caramel. Pure heaven
