I am ready once again- new clothes have been bought

My formal outfit is actually loaned from pajammatam - black kneelength sleeveless dress w/biege fishnet top over - I dont do good explaining - you'll have to wait and see it.
Semi-formal night I have tuxedo pants w/the stripe going down the outside -again loaned from pajammatam. Im wearing the shimmery sleeveless top I bought for our cruise last year - never been worn.
Bought a knee length tropical skirt for tropical night. Also have a tropical shirt I bought last year that I'm sure I'll find a night to wear on the ship.
Bought 5 new pairs of pants today for work in the fall. None of my old clothes fit me anymore. These pants all have fitted waists and zippers! My dinners are all set. Bought a new black tank that I can wear to dinner one night.
Have new black & white outfit to wear to dinner in AP the night we have the color show.
Already have a new tankini and 1piece bathing suit I bought this summer. Jean shorts, jean skort/shorts, other tank tops.
Im ready once again - thanks

The boys were ready last year - hopefully their clothes will still fit.

sounds like your'e all set! I have been shopping too. Don't have all the right clothes yet, but I still have time, Sept 14th. What are wearing with the black tank?

I sort of remember what happened to you, was it the Norwalk virus cancellation?

lol - after yesterday's shopping spree I have black pants, black pants w/a sm wht pinstripe, and a pair w/small black & white checks

and yes thats what happened - I was completely shopped, packed, planned, etc - I had 2hrs left of work before we were on vaca - when the message hit the DISboards

I'm curious as to how how your boys are. Mine are 9 & 13 and I know they wouldn't be able to wear last years clothes. You might want to have them try them on again.

1 of my "boys" I refer to is DH
Our son is 11. He has been wearing size 14/16 for a few years now. He's gotten taller but thank goodness not bigger. His pants have elastic waists. I used to have to roll up the bottoms but not so much anymore. Im hoping the 4 tropical button shirts I bought for him last year still fit - havent tried this on yet - but as he hasnt worn any of them even once yet (cruise cancelled) I refuse to buy him new.

I know what you're referring to when you say DH is one of the boys. My DH is included in my tag name. And he definitely acts like one of them.
