I spent a week at Universal Orlando Resort during a pandemic - 06/15/2020 through 6/20/2020

After a couple of minutes, a team member made their way through the line to speak directly with the ladies. They scoffed and rolled their eyes, but complied.
A good team member experience is always magical

It's encouraging to hear the Universal employees are enforcing the social distancing and mask rules. Sounds like the TM's are really going out of their way to make the experience a great one for the guests

Looking at your report, I'm glad to see that you are being cautious. That family at the pool should have been escorted out and given a severe talking too. Unfortunately there are so many people disregarding the risks and being jerks bout it. I'm glad you were able to enjoy. Sometimes you just need to go someplace and destress.

I love Cabana Bay. But I think it needs some refreshing. New fabrics new furniture. Some paint here and there.

I go to Disney all the time but am new to Universal. Can you exit the park and then re-enter later in the day on the same ticket (with ID)? I'm thinking with masks it's going to be hot and I'll want to go back to the hotel for a nap and then return later in the day if that's allowed

Yes, you can and one great thing about the Universal resort is that you can get around much faster than at WDW. But Universal is not open in the evening right now, so the time window to return is limited.

yes you can. Hopefully Universal will start extending hours.
Also we found changing masks and taking breaks really helped with heat and humidity. And I preferred the disposable masks vs our cloth ones.

What a beautiful but bittersweet report for me. I actually got teary when I read it, it was so descriptive, I felt your emotions, saw pics of your beautiful family with everyone wearing masks but trying to have fun and live life. It is all so surreal. God bless you all and all of us.

Considering the parks close at 6

Thank you for sharing your experience! It's so valuable to hear from people who have a similar viewpoint on masks and physical distancing right now.
