I want a resort that feeds me like a cruise...

It takes a long time to eat at Disney. I want to stay at a resort that provides full meals and snacks all day long. I know the club level provides some food and more service, but I don't want service. I just want food! It takes so long to eat at Disney. I don't want to wait at all. I wish Disney would provide a hotel that has full meals available that you can just go and chow, no waiting or paying, three meals a day. And charge accordingly so that they make good profit. It will save so much time.

This can work out with properly designed plans. For example, it can provide additional dining plans for guests to eat at the parks at discount rates, being that if they eat at the parks they won't eat as much at the hotel, etc.

I wish every Disney hotel will have this. Say just reserve one building for this purpose, and the food can be from the local food court and hotel restaurant, and have a small room for serving it. Then charge per person for eating in the room. The waiting in line to buy food and waiting to pay for it can be skipped.

Just pack a suitcase filled with Pop-Tarts. You can eat them for all meals and snacks. No waiting. And you'll save a bundle on costs.

Disney is already starting to do what you want. Its called Walt Disney World Mobile Ordering Service and its only in the parks ... for now. You order by phone and pick it up.

Eventually, even more of this will happen. Guests will walk up to the food area, pick out what they want and go eat. Everything will be billed automatically by computer. No cashiers to hire. Amazon is already doing this with stores.

Enjoying all the different dining experiences that Disney has to offer is a major part of our enjoyment in the trip. Why else would i be up at 6am to make dining reservations 6 months ahead of my trip? Where else can you eat in a castle for lunch and then go to a German octoberfest for dinner? Having such a thing at resorts likely wouldn't be much of a benefit seeing that many people vacation there to go to the parks and would not go back to the resort to just have a buffet meal. To each his/her own. Some people look at food and dining as an experience other just a necessity in life.

Book a DVC villa with a full kitchen. Fill your refrigerator with whatever you plan on eating and heat up anything you want whenever you want it. Or eat it cold if you want it cold. You have a full stove top, oven, microwave oven in a DVC one bedroom or larger.

What you want is neither possible nor feasible. Not even cruise lines or Las Vegas offer 24 hour buffets, but you might be happier in the latter, because many more food venues are open 24/7.

You want to be able to intake nutrition on a moment's notice? Stock up on Ensure, Glucerna, SlimFast, etc.

As others have said, cruises definitely don't offer this anymore. But if the goal is to be able to eat quickly, don't all the Quick Service locations already provide that? They even have grab and go. And then you don't have to keep returning to the resort.

I think like you I don’t really understand what the OP is asking for? There’s food literally everywhere you look, and it would be very rare to run out of credits if you use a dining plan (probably as close to an “all inclusive” feel you can get at Disney), I’m sure even some of the resort quick services are open 24hrs, Captain cooks for example. What more do you want?!

I'm in the not understanding this at all.
How can any food be available with no wait, just laying there ready to eat. Even going to a 24/7 buffet there's bound to be a wait sometimes. I know we went to one in a casino once and even that had a line to get in.

Same with GF, but the grill isn't open 24 hours. Just the grab and go section.
