Hello, DIS-friends! :wave2:

:welcome: to anyone just meeting us for the first time. And :grouphug: for all of you who have read our reports before and came back for another! :disrocks: So glad to have you here and excited to share our adventures! :goodvibes

This trip was a wild one that grew well beyond our initial plans and ended up being: 4 nights at Walt Disney World during Star Wars Weekends plus the Flower & Garden Festival, 4 nights on the Disney Dream (our first Disney cruise! :boat:), and another 4 nights at WDW and SWW, including the 24-hour-day at the Magic Kingdom. The trip took place May 14th-26th, 2015 and we were fortunate enough to overlap several DIS-friends while we were there, resulting in some fun DIS-meets. If you would like to check out the planning for the trip, you can find the Pre-Trip Report here: Is Mickey a Captain or a Jedi? Both! - May '15 Land & Sea

For those that don't know us, we are "Dugette" (me), "Dug" (my husband of nearly 10 years!), and Izzy (our 2-year-old toddler). This was Izzy's 4th trip to WDW and she had a great time, between her "toddler moments". :rolleyes1 Here we are at Star Wars Weekends:

And here is Izzy looking a bit happier :rotfl::

This was a challenging trip for us. Our easygoing toddler was not so easygoing with the lack of sleep/skipping naps that happened during the trip. Plus, she was newly potty-trained and apparently wanted to see each and every Disney potty, whether or not she actually needed to use it. :faint: These things, combined with some unexpected news from home and an ambitious schedule, led to an exhausted & stressed out Mommy and Daddy at times. We had rough moments, but we also had many, many magical moments. pixiedust: Now that we've been back for a few weeks, it's those magical moments that stand out, especially because Izzy is now old enough to actually bring them up in conversation and remind me about the fun she had. :lovestruc

Yay you've started! :dogdance: Count me in!

Plus, she was newly potty-trained and apparently wanted to see each and every Disney potty, whether or not she actually needed to use it. :faint:
I'm so glad that Little Miss didn't decide to pull this.

Now that we've been back for a few weeks, it's those magical moments that stand out, especially because Izzy is now old enough to actually bring them up in conversation and remind me about the fun she had. :lovestruc
That's the best isn't it?

Yay! You started!
Izzy sure has grown since the Frozen TR!
The first picture did make me chuckle! She looks like she doesn't seen sure of Chewie!
Can't wait to read more!

I'm here and liking forward to it.

A shame that Izzy doesn't seem to be a fan of Ewoks.

I'm here! Glad to hear the magical moments are winning out!

Hope all your ADR efforts paid off!

Oh I wouldn't miss this!!! So excited to read all about it!!! I can't say this enough: Izzy is just so cute!!! :cutie:

I'm here! Can't wait to read all about it! (And hopefully get some advice for our next trip with little ones!)

I'm here!

It sounds like your trip was an adventure for sure!

Love the picture of Izzy and Tink! She looks BIG in that shot!

Ready to follow along! I just love your TRs! I'm also anxious to see what challenges you had with Izzy. We are taking our DD for her first trip in September/October and she will be 2 years next month. The terrible two's are already appearing so I'm hoping your TRs can give me an idea of what to expect!

Oh my gosh, look at how tall Izzy looks!

And does she have red hair?! :cutie::cutie: Agh she gets cuter and cuter every trip. And her rosy cheeks! :faint:

Excited to hear about this trip!

Adorable picture of Tink with Izzy, sounds like an interesting trip. It's good that you are remembering the highlights!

I can't wait to read! I have been reading your trip reports from your year of disney as that is what we are doing now and I am ready to read some new adventures with Izzy. Count me in!

How cute is she in that Tink picture?!? Oh man!

And sorry to hear she was such a toddler, do I know about that!!! Stinkin toddlers! How old was she on this trip? It's amazing how much Disney can mess up an easy going kid! And it throws mommy for a loop cause we're used to the docile child we have at home!
