Unless you're going at rope drop or closing - yes. Just back from a trip this past weekend and got to AK at 8:30 for 9:30 opening. They had started letting people ride about 8:40. We rode twice and off second ride at 9:01 (standby was listed at 20 when we were off the second ride). was up to 110 at lunchtime when we used our FoP fastpass. We saw several times where the Na'vi standby line wasn't much shorter than FoP.
