Another late afternoon snack at Beaver Tail Cart in

The CM there was SO nice, he made a 1/2 maple and
chocolate and 1/2 apples and cinnamon Beaver Tail,
to GO for us! We took this back to the Dolphin lobby
and ate it while waiting for the towncar.

All in all, (with the exception of the BBQ chicken sandwich) we ate VERY well. My 14 yr. old DD was never denied a kids meal (even at Teppanyaki) and we were allowed to split anything we wanted.
Great trip, great food, great fun!

Sounds like you ate at some good places. Mmmmm, I might have to try those Nachos in Mexico at Epcot.

Glad you had a great trip.

I'm getting hungry all ready. I don't know if I can wait til next week to try one of those beaver tails! Thanks for the reviews.

Sounds like a wonderful trip of eating! Don't you just love the whole WDW experience?

Thanks for taking the time to post!

The undercooked pork at 'Ohana sounds particularly delicious.

(yes, I'm joking) I can't believe they would even attempt to serve someone undercooked pork.

Glad you had a lot of good meals. It sounds like you had fun.:sunny:

Wow, Party Teacher, it sounds like you and your DD had a wonderful trip! Thanks for the great reviews! :D

PartyTeacher,
Great reviews. I feel the same about quite a few of those restaurants.
I have the recipe for the Spoon Corn bread at home. I will try and remember to look for it and send it to you.
Every time you go to a restaraunt in Disney make sure to ask for the recipe if you like the food. The waiters and waitresses will go out of their way to get it for you.
I have the Spoon corn bread and bruscetta from Hollywood and Vine. The family loves them.

Hi,

I don't mean to rain on the Beavertail Ya Ya Section, but I had the Hazelnut Chocolate one yesterday (after reading about all the raves here on the Dis) and in my opinion they are way overrated...think flat, warm, saltless buckwheat pancake with skimpy portion of a Nutrella-like spread. $3.50 is waaay too much to pay for this IMHO, but we all have our likes and not-so-likables...lol!

The cabin is located just outside Canada. If you are coming from Future World it's the first food place on the right after you pass the McDonald's place.

I saw the spoon bread recipe on the WDW website under "recipes"!!! I'd send you the link but my computer is on some kind of strike.
