And one with a Swim Pool ............ Give yourselves a Break & a Rest

Agree 100% about taking (at least) two days to get down there. Anything over about 9-10 hours is pushing it.

I also agree about a motel (vs a hotel). In this day of Covid, you want to be around as few people as possible. Motels allow you to avoid common areas except for checking in and out. And get a room on the bottom floor, if possible. You can't get into an elevator with multiple people outside your family.

However, unless you're going in the next couple of weeks, or next summer, you won't find a motel with an open swim pool. It will be too cold to swim, until you get close to Florida. Hotels with indoor swim pools are an option. But they're few and far between on the interstate. They're usually in large cities. And they're hotels too. With the lobbies and the common areas.

Yes, as @Woodview has said, hope that you consider splitting it up, you will all be better for it!

We are splitting the drive between 2 days and the reason for limiting electronics is related to eye strain and vision problems. Thanks for all of the suggestions.
