Looks like DL won't be opening anytime soon.

Newsom released the poorly designed guidelines which will make it more or less impossible for DL or Universal California to open anytime soon.

Disney really should start considering their backup plans. Either pack the state with enough voters to get him out of office, or start loading up the castle on an 18 wheeler and haul down to Texas. Or maybe they can do like Stargate Atlantis and just attach a bunch of huge thrusters under the park so it can lift off and move. I know this sounds difficult, but I would be willing to place odds Disney could get that done before Newsom turns reasonable.

The other alternative is file a law suite against the Governor and state of California. The Governor's authority on emergency authority has long gone past its expiration date. The State legislature has had over 7 months to pass laws regarding shutdowns. We are a nation of laws and the governor has over reached his authority - quite frankly needs to be reminded we are not a dictatorship. Now is the time for Disney to have the courts remind California that they need to follow laws and not their personal beliefs.
