If you've been reading my journal then you know that my in-laws to be have been less than stellar throughout this whole planning process complaining about everything from the location and date to the length of our engagement. Well....imagine our surprise when we thought we were meeting Joe's parents for dinner last night and instead, walked into a surprise party for us! They even flew some family members in from NY just for the occasion! I'm so happy they have finally come around and now it feels 'right'. The excitment is really building and I can't wait to get married!
When we arrived at the restaurant we were escorted upstairs to find this:
Everything was beautiful and we were so surprised!
There was soooo much food! They really went all out. We had our own salad bar, appetizers galore and the yummiest filet mignon I've ever had! I can't believe I didn't blow up! FIL also gave a beautiful toast, it was truly touching. Then we had cake...oh my...it was a HUGE Coldstone creamery ice cream cake...mmmmmmmm!
Then we opened gifts...woohoo!

We had so much fun and I just had to share! I'm getting married in 5 weeks!!!
WOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOO! It feels so nice to finally feel this excited!!!!
I am proud to say, however, that my to do list is shrinking daily! WOOHOO! I have finally confirmed with all my vendors and everything is good. I've paid off disney, and I've applied for my marriage certificate which should be here any day. Really, all I have left to do is put together all my favors and welcome bags and print all my paper items and assmble them. Oh...and I've decided to make DF adn I some Bride and Groom shirts to match the ones I've made for the kids. I'll post a picture after I get them done. I finished up my favor shopping last night. 
It's definitely going to be a tight ride. What's worse is the kids are all going to have to sit in the back seat of the van (We are taking out the middle two to make room) which means they will be touching each other for 8 hours!!!
