March or April

We are considering taking our grandson, who will turn 5 in April, on a 3 or 4 day cruise on the Dream. We did a 7 day on the Magic in 2007 but that was in November. Any tips on March vs April? Also 3 vs 4 day? Our Magic cruise was was with our 3 dd’s and some friends. This one would be just me, dw and our grandson.

Thanks

Try to book after Spring break and Easter/Passover, the rates are cheaper until mid- May.

A 4-day will be less rushed, with more time to explore the ship and many, many activities.

Is there much difference weather wise? It looks like 4/23 and 4/30 would be good. Wondering about swimming at Castaway Cay.

I think swimming at the end of April at Castaway Cay would be good. We were there a couple of times at the end of March and the weather was good for swimming.

We like April. Castaway nice for swimming. Usually pretty good weather. 4 days makes for a nice trip length. Enjoy!

We’ve done both March and April. April was definitely warmer but both trips we had very pleasant days at CC.
