Mariner of the Seas & Coco Cay Review - Triple Threat Match (RCCL vs DCL vs CCL)

Thanks so much for the review and the pics! Can't wait for CocoCay in May! We booked a thrill waterpark cabana and now I'm eyeing the Beach Club access pass.

I was not a fan of the split bath on our Disney Dream cruise. I much prefer one big luxurious bath such as is available with junior suites and above on Royal - and that we would never be able to afford on DCL. LOL!

My pleasure!

I've seen part of the constructions still going on and I believe the Beach Club will be very nice.

I'm so excited! Thinking of doing the waterpark cabana in the morning and Beach Club for lunch and the afternoon.

Loved Jamies as well but I did find their 'garlic bread' a bit of a joke. That Pavlova though...…..YUM!

I loved their garlic bread. I called it the "garlic brioche". I just really love garlic, I guess. LOL

I loved everything but I'm still dreaming of their Carbonara Pasta.

The Pavlova was spectacular. So flavorful and delicate...

ENOUGH WITH THE FOOD !!! It's 2:45AM and NOW I'm dying for some Italian. :teeth:

Thanks for sharing this review, Mevelandry!

I'm constantly changing my mind on what vacation I want to do, the current plan is late summer WDW/Universal trip with possibly a short cruise. I'd rather do a 7 day on the Fantasy but of course the Fantasy isn't doing 7 days around that time, sigh - so it's either a 4 day Dream, 4 day Fantasy, 5 day Fantasy, or 4 day Mariner of the Seas! So helpful to read your thoughts.

Whatever you choose to do, I'm sure you'll have a great time! :) If you have done a short DCL cruise and went to Castaway Cay before, I might recommend the Mariner and CocoCay just so you get to try something different. :) It's a good value and you won't break the bank.
