Memories Wedding

Hi everyone!

I got engaged whilst we were in Disney in November.

Planning a Memories collection for the 2 of us and our 3 girls in Jan 2020. However, around 20 other people will be coming on vacation with us. They are aware that we are having a private ceremony on the beach at the poly - do you know if they close off the walkway? I have a few close friends who want to watch from a distance!

Following the ceremony we would love to have a brunch at Trader Sam's, or even better yet, rent it out for the evening party - I called and they said it's not possible - any experience with this?

Can't wait until March so we can book the date!!!

Disney does not close off the walkway during Memories events. I have interviewed several Memories brides who were able to have a few extra guests watch from a distance: https://disneyweddingpodcast.com/category/walt-disney-world/memories-collection/

Trader Sam's is not available for private events in the evening because it is open to the public then. However, you can do a brunch or lunch there as long as it ends by 3pm. Or you can do a "mix-in" where you start privately at 3pm and then day guests are allowed in at 4pm so you're mixing with them.
