I read that her antidepressants were changed. I also know that antidepressants can cause suicidal thoughts in teens. I wonder if she had suicidal thoughts and channeled them to Roy.

No , the closings are going on right now. It should go to jury today. But I can put one up over the weekend for Brandon Banks. No problem

I appologize if this was covered-I couldn't find it. What are her possible sentences for involuntary maximum-min/max? Is the verdict in August? Any possibility she could avoid jail time?

I hope her jail time is minimal but that she is required to receive psychiatric treatment instead.

I remember you chiding me a long time ago for an innocent remark I made. You told me you were 'in mental health" or something like that. Times are changing.

Yes it is 20 years. Now weather the judge will do it for at the time of her age then , or if now. We have a ways to wait to hear he time.

I don't make fun of people for their looks, so I hope you don't take anything personal when I post pictures. I did not post pictures for her eyebrows or anything else. Just showing how she was when she left the court. I see defendants as human as well. Now I can make fun of my body and if you saw it you would run screaming...o_O

I hope Michelle gets all the help she needs to over come this. As I hope for any defendant. I am sure her parents are devistated also. This case has not been easy for either side. But this is my HO.

I guess you don't understand the difference between murder and involuntary manslaughter. I'm sure the judge will though.

There is no intent to kill, and a resulting death would not be considered murder, but would be considered involuntary manslaughter. The accused's responsibility for causing death is constructed from the fault in committing what might have been a minor criminal act.

I too hope she gets a lenient sentence and a LOT of mental health help. Don't get me wrong, what she did was terrible. It just seems to me that she had some kind of physic break but her defense could not convince the judge that she was sick enough to not be held responsible. It's all interesting precedence. If Michelle could be convicted of involuntary manslaughter while she was not physically there, it opens up a whole big can-o-worms with other cyber-bullying cases.

I wonder if she would have fared better with a jury o_O.

    That's a nasty comment.

She's not a murderer. A "killer" maybe, but she wasn't convicted of murder.
