Apparently it's been reported that this was a not a food worker, but a hostess. Someone that is not handling your food.

1) The SEATER (aka: Host/Hostess) does not serve food, nor do they clear tables.
2) But,
. . . they frequently set or reset the table for the next guest eating
. . . this is the SERVER's job, but they sometimes help out when the SERVER is very busy
. . . they do handle eating utensils when setting the table
. . . they handle the "buzzer" to notify you your table is ready, which you also handle
. . . they can handle chairs, they you might handle the chair

NOTE:
The above is not meant to scare anyone, but just listed as a precautionary note.
When eating at ANY eatery at Disney, a health problem that any restaurant worker has, can be transmitted to guests.
Unlikely, but possible.
