Most Magical and Least Magical Moment at Disney Resort / Park.

Most magical: So I’m a mild vinylmation addict and a few years ago I was on the hunt for the last vinylmation to complete my Peter Pan collection. I needed Nana and had tons of duplicates. We tried several different locations to no avail. Finally We ended up in the Emporium and I asked a cast member jokingly if She could tell me if the blind box had Nana inside because it was the last one I needed. She said hang on and went to the back and brought me a Nana vinylmation and said “this is your magical moment”! I was so excited to finally have my complete collection and even more excited when she said it was free of charge. Disney CMs are the absolute best!

Least magical: honestly a dinner at California Grill....it was probably my high expectation but I left feeling very underwhelmed.

Most Magical...
My baby girl took her first steps in Spaceship Earth.
Least Magical...
Taking 2 babies in diapers to Disney for a week.

They are 8 and 10 now and we have 97 days until our next Disney "Fix".

On my last trip with my good friend, we had three small things happen:
1. I was "Susanna" when Voices of Liberty sang "Oh, Susanna", so I had my hand held and was serenaded. Cute!
2. We were having trouble finding decent seats for the Guardians of the Galaxy concert and a CM came and got us and escorted us to a roped off section and let us go in there. Perfect seats!
3. When eating a quick breakfast up by the train station overlooking Town Square, Mary Poppins came up and spent a few minutes visiting with us. No one else was around.

We only had two park days in that short trip, and they were two really great days. Everything just seemed to fall into place and we were at the right place at the right time.

Most magical moment was in 1987. Our first trip. My wife and I both grew up watching the Mickey Mouse Club (original with Annette) and Disney's Wonderful World of Color on TV. We both dreamed of going to Disneyland but knew we would never be able to go as kids. We understood it cost a lot of money and our family's could never afford that. We walked into the Magic Kingdom with our children and saw the castle for the first time. We both started to cry. It was a real "Dream come true". We both still choke up today thinking about that moment. Have any of you had a real Dream come True to you? This was ours. The least magical moment is every year when we say good bye on our last day, always at the Magic Kingdom, staring at the castle. We thank Walt for his vision and walk out, both with tears in our eyes. I'm 65 and my wife will soon be and I am not ashamed of those tears. In just a short 137 days we will once again say Hi to the castle like we always do.

Some lovely stories on this thread, thanks! I think it deserves a bigger audience, so I’m going to put it on the Theme Parks Community board. :)
