My mom asked me an interesting question...

Well, I think I've always kind of had an "old soul", so I never felt exactly like a kid inside. I remember doing certain activities in kindergarten and grade school and thinking how juvenile and embarassing they seemed lol. But old soul doesn't mean grumpy old lady either for me, so I'd say around age 30 was about when I felt most like I "fit". I'm 43, so now I guess I'm working my way backwards :)

In my mind I'm about 30, I was older than my years most of my life and looked younger than I was until about 50. Physically it depends on what time of day it is and what I did the day before. Early morning, I'm about 100, it takes me at least a half hour laying in the bed after I wake up and discussing the fact that I have to get up with my bones and joints to actually make them agree to do so. If I've done a harder than normal workout the day before, my body is around 150. In birthday years, I'm 60.

Yes, I have to agree, that even though mentally I put myself at about age 30, my joints feel closer to 100 as well

It is interesting. I definitely remember a period of not feeling like a teenager. I was sort of a weird combination of a kid and an adult - one or the other at any given moment.

I'm 46 now, but felt about 35 until fairly recently. Now I'm kind of "where I am".

I was probably my most adventurous in my 20's, but I've always felt like "me".

Chronologically and physically I'm sixty-ten and most days I feel every day of it. Occasionally I'll feel like what my kids call "let's build the addition!" but those days are getting fewer and farther between. Mentally. however, I credit my life-long love of reading with the fact that, according to the Brain Age app on my Nintendo DS, my Brain Age is consistently in the high 30s or low 40s. My personal best on one day's series of tests was 25! I'll take a deteriorating body over a deteriorating mind any day!

I went to the Queen Tribute concert at Firekeeper's casino this past Friday with one of my brothers who is 51. The guy next to him kind of knew my bro and thought I was his wife. My brother said no I was his 63 year old sister. The guy actually leaned over and said "Wow you're really hot for 63!!!". Of course he was 45 and had had a few beers!!! :rotfl:

really depends on the situation, I have the tv habits of a 75 year old grannie (Golden Girls, Price Is Right, Jeopardy, wheel of fortune, a nap.)

I've been "A Cranky Old Man" since I was 12.

and if anyone asks me how old I am I just say 25.
