I would love to meet others who are Disney lovers and using MyFitnessPal to meet their health/weight goals! I have been using MFP for almost 4 months now. I started out using the app on my Droid2 phone and then got hooked on the site. I've now been faithfully logging on to the site for nearly 85 days. Since I got serious about logging I have lost 19 lbs. I can't believe I lost weight over Thanksgiving and Christmas!!!
I'm 11 lbs from my goal weight (though I might push my goal weight down 5 more lbs...haven't decided yet - hope to know when I get there what is the right weight for me). I have been doing a bootcamp that is 5 days a week, an hour a day. I'm in week 2 of my 3rd 4 week bootcamp. These bootcamps have REALLY pushed me! I've never seen a bicep muscle before or muscle definition in my thighs...amazing.
I'm looking forward to a 'redo' of a lot of pics that grossed me out from my last trip...like when my daughter had me in the pic with her and Arial or her and Jasmine. I looked mighty scary next to those scantily clad DP's =-0.
I am nervous about weight gain on the trip. My plan right now is to ENJOY the food, but PUT DOWN the fork or spoon when I am satisfied. My trainer always reminds us (she's a registered dietician, too) that "empty plate syndrome" is the biggest culprit in people who perpetually yo-yo. I really want to master maintenance once and for all! I know, I know, many people say, "it's vacation! eat! enjoy!" I WILL enjoy it, but I don't have to eat every bite. I'm also planning to wear my garmin running watch. It will be interesting to see how many miles we walk!!! I will be logging those walks.
Would love to meet more MFP people here!
