My problem with beaches is that they are mostly outdoors.

Your third "beach" reminds me of when I used to take my Mother to the casino on Sunday afternoons. She loved that cocktail so imagine me (as I would get to the bar first) saying " I'll take a rum and Coke and my Mom wants Sex on the Beach."

I live near some beautiful bea...actually I live near some really dumpy beaches. Bleh, you don't want to visit any of those beaches.

I live in New Jersey and they all have been dumps that I have been to in New Jersey imo. But I see a lot of people have New Jersey listed here. I just don’t see it.

Those are probably just the ones they know. I live in Oregon, we have beautiful beaches, but we don't want anyone to know about them.

Personally I hate swimming in the ocean. A nice freshwater beach for me!

You can only swim in cooler water. When it gets warm like in the Southern US, you get the brain-eating amoeba growing in the water. Get a little water up your nose and you get the amoeba in your brain. Naegleria fowleri. I imagine water in Canada doesn't get that warm during the summer months.

No. Only worries are leaches and mosquitos for the most part. At times we have had issues with E Coli and swimmer's itch. E Coli is rare and the beach is closed if the reading is unsafe.
