I LOVED this movie. I still do! I actually just did Annie in November with a local theater company. I also loved Star Wars-A New Hope, and the 1st Ewok movie.

The Apple Dumpling Gang (please note that I required parental permission to attend a movie at that age.)

    Any and all Godzilla movies!!
And all those cheesy 50's sci-fi movies

But I do have to agree that The Cowboys was way up there on the top of my list!

Like others, The Wizard of Oz. We only had 3 TV stations (one of which came in real snowy, so more like 2 1/2), so when a movie came on TV that you liked it was Appointment TV. Wizard of Oz came on once/year and it was a big deal.

The Ten Commandments -- for some reason I understood as a kid just how cheesy the acting and the script were, yet I was just fascinated.
All of the Laurel and Hardy movies.

One of my favorites as well, but I was slightly older when it came out. I loved Bill Bixby, and Tim Conway and Don Knotts were great together.

Annie - the original movie with Aileen Quinn and Carol Burnett. I must have watched it 1000 times. Had the posters, dolls, etc. LOVED it!

This! But it was "Escape TO Witch Mountain."

    Cat from Outer Space
    The Rescuers
    Charlotte's Web
    Superman

And, yes, I was 9 when it came out, but I didn't appreciate Star Wars until much later.

Sound of Music, made such a huge impact on me I had to go get my hair cut just like Julie Andrews.
