DH and I might try to book BWV for Nov 30 and Dec 1, then switch to BWI for Dec 2 and Dec 3. As of yesterday, there WAS availability. Whether it's there in 10 days, who knows?

We're not picky about views, really but were curious about some of the standard and preferred views out there? What do you see? Anyone have pics?

What's a non-BW view like???

Hi - Here are some taken just a couple days ago...

Looking straight ahead from room 4099 (not a bad walk)

Zooming in facing a little towards the right = sunrise

Feb 2006 we had another standard view that was in the back and we had a clear and rather nice view of the canal and TOT at MGM - were able to see quite a bit from Fantasmic at night - and we could also see a little of the parking lot (not a big deal since rest of view was rather nice). Don't recall that room number, it might have been 2125...but this was a loooong walk - but manageable - found short cuts using stairs and paths...

Here is Peferred view at Boardwalk. It faces the "quiet pool" near community hall. Just taken 3 weeks ago.

Here are a couple of photos from a Preferred View 1BR villa - it was a corner room with a view of the Luna Pool and another towards the Studios.

Here are some of our studio which was over the Wyland Galleries and overlooked the courtyard area. The balcony was a little noisy due to the enclosed area (it echoed), but it was nice to sit out there and people-watch!

Here is a shot from one of the standard view rooms--about the same area as jiggerj:

And here's another Standard View from a few years ago. Note the land beneath was still being converted to the croquet green during our stay. It's now fully landscaped:

Thanks for the pics everyone! The most interesting is Dis13's! We hung out in the little seating area down by the gallery and on the greenspace in front and I never noticed there were balconies up there!

Here is a set of pics from BWV #4004/6... (looks like the same area as tjkraz but ours was preferred view and a couple years later)

Straight view out the balcony of the Swan and Dolphin.

To the left. You can see the croquet lawn below. We did play croquet during our visit!

To the right. Jellyrolls service area behind the fencing. Trucks do roll in at 5:30am! Beep, beep, beep. (Didn't bother me at all but did DH)

Where is the service entrance for BWV???
