Never too early to start, right?

Who's planning to attend in 2018?

Note: There are typically 3 performances per night, running from November 22-Dec.30th. The performances are at the American Gardens Pavilion at 5:00p.m., 6:45p.m., and 8:15p.m. Shows are about 55 minutes in length.

Even with a dining package, prevailing advice is to get in line at least 45 minutes before the performance you are attending. This will give you a seating advantage over those in the regular line up, who are let in 30 minutes in advance.

**Your performance time will be specified in the particular dining package for which you make reservations. There will not be a choice of the 3 performance times, but will be one specific time linked to your reservation**

*Narrator and Dining Package information below in posts #2 and #3. *

First time having the dining plan during Candlelight Processional. Are the dining packages one or two credits?

Following. My kids won't sit through this, but my parents are coming and doing some things on their own, and they are highly looking forward to this. Of course, they know NOTHING behind the planning for a trip like this, and I'm running our TA in circles trying to get this all planned out, while not being able to talk and plan with my wife on a daily basis....since we're surprising the kids this time. Trying to see if we can get to the airport without them knowing where we are going. But that just all compounds the stress. Ugh! Anyway, our 180 ADR mark is coming up around Memorial Day. Looks like, we won't have dates scheduled for the processional meal plan until July, right? Does the processional run every day, multiple times a day? My folks aren't old, but they kinda act old, if you know what I mean, so they will need to sit and have decent seats for the processional. We just want to make sure that we don't plan them to be at a different park or something when the processional takes place.

Thanks.

So, the processional dining package takes two credits. Is it just me but this doesn't seem like a good use of credits for two adults. Seems like they would be better off paying oop, am I right? We will have free dining credits for part of our split stay, but they also have other high ticket items on their list that also take 2 credits (boathouse, CRT, and California grill).

They have 3 showings everyday. If they do the dining package then they will have seats.

The package has different prices for lunch and dinner and some places are doing breakfast as part of the package., as well as different prices depending on the restaurant. The meal with the package includes an appetizer, entree, dessert and most likely drink regardless of whether you are paying OOP or with credits. Which show they see will be based on what time of day they have their package meal. I think you should figure which place they want to eat at for the package and then look at menus. The package is a set price, no matter what they order, but if what they will most likely eat at one of those other restaurants you name is cheaper then the best use of credits would be for the CP package.

Ok. So breakfast goes with a morning show, lunch with a midday show and dinner with an evening show? Are they guaranteed seating then, or should they still plan to find their seat an hour or two before it starts?
