Oh My Goodness! Christmas - NYE Rates Are Terrible!

I just looked at rates for 12/24-1/3 and rates are really, really high! They start at $300+ per week for a mid-sized car. I don't remember them being this high for 1999/2000 NYE. Even National and the DC won't give me a decent rate. Sheesh!

Thank goodness my husband can book through his work!

I second that $400 for 6 days in a covertible at Dollar is the best I have so far

The rental car companies have not even given Hotwire any inventory yet!

I'm going to sit on my Hertz reservation and hope that rates come down.

We went NYE 2001/2002, and the best rate I could get (8 days, luxury) was around $600 with National, including the Disney Club discount. Avis wanted around $800, and Budget was also around $600.
