OKW Grand Villa & Golf

Wondering if anyone could give a recommendation for a room.

Booked at OKW, Grand Villa. 5 golfers in family. Would love to have a view of LBV Golf course green. Have requested Building 16. Close to hospitality house, buses and pool. Good Choice? Bad Choice? Any better?

Yes, 16 is a good choice, but we prefer 15 because there is a tee box right outside your balcony and also a water hazard. I love to heckle other golfers from the balcony....AFTER they have taken their shot, of course. FYI, the GVs in 15 are our favs. We have requested and gotten those several times, and love the location. It is equidistant to HH and Miller's Road for the bus, so when you head out the door, if you see the bus coming for your destination, you know you have time to walk to HH and get on there.

There are two GVs in building 16 and that building was home to the original model units from 1991 until the sales center was moved to BWV around 1997. The original DVC Sales Center, Commodore House, was located where Building 62 is now found, next to Building 16. The model GV was the one on the left in Building 16 (there are two).

Building 16 has a great view of the 6th green, pond and approaching fairway as does Building 19. Buildings 63 and 15 also have golf course views (7th green - an island green), but not as panoramic as 16, 19 and 25. (25 is part of the Hospitality House booking category.)

There are other GVs with fairway/green views (Buildings 18, 29, 48, 51, 53) but, IMO, none of those are as nice as the view from Buildings 15, 16, 19, 63.

I would suggest having several Buildings on your request list, as there are only 27 GVs and they are all popular - and all offer a wonderful villa experience.
