Ordering counter service with the app

    Excellent other than Pinocchio Haus Which was very very very unorganized/slow.

    Have done it many times, have visually tagged folks at the back of the line. We always have our food, seated and eating before they even order. Cosmic Rays we timed it, walking in ordering to seating eating was 4 minutes.

    Kinda hoping it never goes to DDP, at that point it will be just another long line ........ especially since I think many DDP users will get messed up and there will be issues a pickup.

    Would I be able to put in the disney visa redemption card # instead of credit card #?

    Agree...it works efficiently now because it is fairly "exclusive". The more people who are able to use it, the less advantageous it will become.

    I don't believe they actually did this. What are they thinking???? How is this going to make any difference in timing for anyone now and how much more difficult is it going to be for the people working in the restaurants?

    We did Pinocchio Haus last week and we waited almost 30 minutes for our food after ordering. They don't have the man power to handle this. One guy. Our food obviously had been done for some time under lamps. Parts were cold and the other almost inedible. But with the crowd of folks waiting for their food just didn't want to go back and battle it.

    I did it also at Backlot and while it was closer to 10 minutes, it really saved no time based on lines. And again, one person working it so we were at the mercy of when he paged us and then when I got up there he pulled my food out of warming shelf ..........

    At Satulin' we opted to go through the line so the food would be fresh. Otherwise we ate where it was not offered, packed lunches and ate off property. Folks struggle so bad at the kiosks at BOG because they can't get the DDP to work with what they want .... all I'm seeing is a backup of the line making it pointless for those who know how to manage the app.

    Just like FP...the more people that use it, the longer the line.
    I wonder if there will be 'wait times' for mobile ordering?
    I mean, at some point, they will have to restrict the number of orders being entered to allow the kitchen to keep up.
