Stopped by Key West last week while on a cruise. The Oro Gold store had ladies out front handing out sample packets of different products. They were very pushy, but that's another story.

I tried the serum and love it. Well, as much as I can tell after 2 applications ;)

It is, according to my pocketbook, VERY expensive.

Anyone use this line or have any actual experience with this product line?

Bumping for the evening, at least evening here ;), crowd!!!

Anyone?

It doesn't have a very good reputation here in the UK. My mum and I were 'persuaded' into the OroGold shop in London by a worker and he tried out all of the cream on my mum before giving us a pushy sales talk.

'This cream retails for £300 but today, get it for just £150!'

When we tried to walk out, he goes...

'Okay- buy this cream for £90!'

We didn't want to spend even that, and so had to literally run out- he was very pushy. I wouldn't get deceived by prices as clearly they sell their products for a lot less than the 'market' price.

The cream's effects wore off pretty quickly and we were glad we didn't succumb to impulse buying! I'd read reviews before you do anything (because it is a ridiculously expensive product)- generally they don't seem to be favourable- for example...

Thank you for the replies. I figured someone out there had info on them.

After they had me come into the store, they put some eye cream on me that in about 5 seconds burnt like the devil!!! I wiped the excess off, and they blamed it on the product that I had used that morning

My DH (the big softie :lovestruc) bought me two of the body products from a mall kiosk a few years ago. He knows NOTHING about stuff like this and figured for the price it had to be amazing and that I was worth it. Such a sweet gesture but I couldn't get passed the horrible smell! :crazy2:. The first time I slathered myself head to toe after a bath I ended up having to shower 1/2 hour later. Ick, yuck, pooey!

The exact thing happened to me! Put it on my hand and it burned! It took awhile to get out of that store. They were annoyingly pushy. :(

Bringing back this thread because this store is at Foxwoods Casino and the people working there are so PUSHY! Do yourself a favor, and walk on the another side of hallway, to get by this store.
