OT I know I asked you Easterners to send the snow CO way-

BUT ENOUGH ALREADY. Snow day two and counting... Plows scheduled for Saturday-HA! One of the trees across the street fell over roots and all because it was so laden with snow. Even the neighbor's Hummer can't get through.

Carla in Colorado, two and a half feet and still snowing.

Be careful what you ask for.............

Remember kitts like plowmen!

We'll send you Ann's plowman!! He'll be glad to plow more snow and hopefully he won't put it back in your driveway

Oh Jeanny you have not been keeping up ;) The plowman's remains are in the fox hole in my back yard feeding mama fox and her kitts..

A plowman, any plowman, EVEN Ann's plowman would be O.K. The birds are hungry, the rabbits are hungry and the foxes are especially hungry.

Hello,
I moved from Fort Collins/Loveland area to Clearwater,FL last August - we've been experiencing unseasonably warm temps - mid80s ,while my CO contigency hasn't been able to open their front doors due to the pileup. Moments like these reinforce my decision.....
I'll say a prayer for a quick melting and arrival of spring (while sipping a Pina Colada by the pool...)

I knew you were thinking of throwing that plowman to the mama fox.... I didn't think you actually did it yet!!! Good for you! Next year the new plowman will think twice about dumping snow in your driveway!! Ha, Ha. We'll just send his replacement out to Colorado now!!

Yes it will become quite the legand,, they will talk about it for years to come at plow man training school....

Abitjaded, we got 40" here in Littleton. Unbelievable! Side streets are unpassable. BUT it is what we have been praying for!

First, Washington Irving writes "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow" - now it's Ann writing "The Legend of the Plowman".....
somehow I think we're on a roll here.

The Tag Fairies are the special folk who watch over us and our postings - our "guardian angels" who sometimes will put little notes under our names - as in mine has two tags under my name and title of DIS VETERAN.

The Tag Fairies will always be secretive and always very special while they do their magic on the Dis Discussion Board.

I love my Tag Fairy ------

Never got a chance to feed our plowman to the fox. He showed up, made one pass and left it more of a mess. But our neighborhood county official got out his backhoe and cleaned all of us out, including the driveways we couldn't get. We still have some stuck vehicles, and rivers running under the snow. Boots get soaked everytime we go out to shovel more. They are beginning to smell like the body of Ann's plowman. But yesterday we got mail and newspapers (which I could have done without), and this morning we got milk. Hmm...when will we get rid of trash and recyclables. (Funny aside, neighborhood park is named Fox Crossing, because that is what it is, but some of us had wanted to name it after our back-hoer).

glad to see you are digging out... Everything here is now a muddy mess. But mud is better than snow!
