Package tickets

I tried to read the ticket sticky but I'm still confused on the new changes. Can someone help me clarify. I booked a free dining package in April of this year which includes tickets and our shows expiration date of Dec 2018. I have annual pass which I plan on using for the trip. Can I still save the package tickets for future use? Thanks!

The tickets will retain their value, but for future use you will need to upgrade them -- either towards another AP or the new-style regular Theme Park Tickets.
