Paddle boats

We are wanting to do the paddle boats (for 4 people) on castaway. My son wants to know if he will be tall enough to help pedal. Does anyone know what height he would need to be or how old were your kids when they were able to pedal? Thanks

I couldn't find anything specifically on heights, even from some manufacturers. I would say that ages 9-10 can certainly provide some pedal power. Just know that you won't be moving at a high rate of speed, no matter who is providing the power.

Yes if he scoots up in the seat he’ll be able to pedal but I will tell you they look much more fun than they are lol. Lots of pedaling gets you nowhere and if it’s windy you get blown around. My kids wanted to pedal and lasted about 3 minutes
