Paris Disney Dreams Come True! *COMPLETED 10/29*

Your photos are fabulous! What type of camera do you have? You could go to DLP so many times and still not see all the little details hidden around the place.
Looks like you were really lucky with the weather. Looking forward to more.

Disney details are my favorite! I'm using a Cannon DSLR. It's an EOS T3.

I see your trip is just a couple of days away. Have a wonderful time!

Back in Fantasyland after the Snow White ride we took in the sights of the carousel.
ry%3D480

And then we browsed in the three fairy's sweet shop....
ry%3D480

ry%3D480

The Halloween displays were happy!
ry%3D480

I especially adore the Paris specific Disney merchandise.
ry%3D480

ry%3D480

ry%3D480

ry%3D480

Back outside, near the castle, Mom and I caught a glimpse of the beautiful Belle!
ry%3D480

A peek of Mom by the wishing well...
ry%3D480

We made our way towards Discoveryland and enjoyed taking in how different it was from the Tomorrowland's of the US parks.
ry%3D480

ry%3D480

The next item on the itinerary was most important!
ry%3D480

Mom and I had our hearts set on crepes and ice cream from Gibson Girls....
ry%3D480

On my way in I spotted a bit of Main Street Transportation...
ry%3D480

We had come all the way to Europe for a bit Ben & Jerry's...
ry%3D480

The inside decor was very sweet....
ry%3D480

ry%3D480

Mom and I had the best treats!
ry%3D480

With an even better view!
ry%3D480

As if crepes in Disneyland Paris with my mom wasn't enough next we did a bit a pin shopping. I was in heaven!

Here are two of the Paris pins I chose....
ry%3D480

And a very cute cupcake set!
ry%3D480

We were having such a nice afternoon! I captured this fun picture of Mom in Minnie's sewing room!
ry%3D480

I'll stop here for now and pick up in Frontierland in the next post.

On our way into Frontierland I detoured a bit to check out the Dapper Dan's Barber Shop.

ry%3D480

I adore the Dapper Dans! I think it has to do with sweet childhood memories of them in California's Disneyland.

ry%3D480

I didn't get to see them at work but I can just imagine them in this perfect little setting!
ry%3D480

ry%3D480

The barber shop sits off in a bit of an alcove. In that same alcove this great, vintage Coca Cola truck was parked.
ry%3D480

And a horse drawn trolley was passing on Main Street! *sighs* Life at Disney is the best!
ry%3D480

After that little side trip we were back on track and entering Frontierland. The fall decorations there were perfect!
ry%3D480

ry%3D480

ry%3D480

ry%3D480

This little kiosk pulled both Mom and I in.
ry%3D480

Mom was trying on silly hats while I shopped for a souvenir for Reagan...
ry%3D480

I ended up choosing this cute, leather belt and holster set for Reagan. It has been a big hit with him.
ry%3D480

After that bit of shopping we were back on track for our real destination. All the Halloween decor around had me especially excited for this one! The Phantom Manor...
ry%3D480

ry%3D480

Tea?

ry%3D480

ry%3D480

The queue was fairly empty....
ry%3D480

The view of Big Thunder Mountain from the Manor's front porch was fantastic!
ry%3D480

Stretching Room time!
ry%3D480

Other art along the way....
ry%3D480

a cobwebbed chandelier...
ry%3D480

ry%3D480

ry%3D480

ry%3D480

That brings me to my picture limit so I'll have to pick back up in the next post.

Continuing on with the Phantom Manor ride....
ry%3D480

ry%3D480

I feel like there is more detail to take in on the Paris rendition of this attraction....
ry%3D480

ry%3D480

and last but not least.... the bride!
ry%3D480

We seem to be land hopping quite a bit. We made our way into Adventureland following the Phantom Manor....

ry%3D480

and straight to Adventure Isle...
ry%3D480

Past the treehouse....
ry%3D480

This ship really makes the theme in this area!
ry%3D480

ry%3D480

And how cool is this!?
ry%3D480

We were headed for another "must do" attraction....
ry%3D480

I couldn't stop taking in the surrounding Adventure Isle area. It really gets you in the mood for PotC!
ry%3D480

An awesome scene on the ride!
ry%3D480

ry%3D480

The ride photo....
ry%3D480

This is a good stopping point for now. I'll pick up with Aladdin pics in the next post.

After Pirates we headed towards something I haven't seen in any of the other Disney parks. It is a series of miniature Aladdin displays that you walk through as the displays tell the story. I was looking forward to this since it is something completely new and different....

The building it is contained in is Aladdin themed as well....
ry%3D480

Not quite sure how this translates...
ry%3D480

I don't have much to say about the pictures..... just pretend you're at DLP walking through the attraction taking in the scenes. Hello, happy place!

ry%3D480

ry%3D480

ry%3D480

ry%3D480

ry%3D480

ry%3D480

ry%3D480

ry%3D480

ry%3D480

ry%3D480

So pretty!
ry%3D480

ry%3D480

And that brings us to the end...
ry%3D480

I really love your photos!!! Thanks for posting! I too love photographing Disney details though on my last trip I didn't really - but I do especially love all the imagineering details at DLRP!pixiedust:

Amazing photos, and the amount you got on Pinocchio is amazing - I find it whips you around so fast it's hard to take it in, let alone take pictures!! lol

C x

I have really enjoyed your trip report, lovely pictures. We are going for the first time in June, and by looking at your pictures I think I need to bring a few extra memory sticks for my camera!

hi @scrpbookr really enjoyed your trip report. You got some amazing photos, especially of the dragon. I was last in DPL during Christmas season so it was really nice to see all the Autumn theming. You were very lucky with the weather. As you probably noticed there are alot more indoor, covered in things like the arcades which lead to the covered walkway down through Adventureland to Pirates, the Aladdin walkthough, the dragron, the castle etc. This is because DLP gets alot of rain throughout the year, in all seasons and snow in Winter.

I am a regular to Disneyland California and I sometimes feel that DPL is a Frenchfied Disney, I mean that some of the Disney ethos and feel and happy smilieness is missing. I'm not talking about the language difference, more an overall feeling of CMs not really being Disneyfied like in California. I would be interested to hear if you got that feeling in DPL

Loving the TR! Your photos are awesome and love all the detail you're including! Following along for more! :)

Trying to squeeze in a quick post on this poor, neglected trip report this afternoon. Life is full of all sorts of fun that keeps me from finding time to hang out on my favorite website.

It is always nice to think back on this lovely view though....
ry%3D480

We explored some in Discoveryland....
ry%3D480

ry%3D480

I loved the differences in this park from the other Disney parks...
ry%3D480

ry%3D480

We caught the Disneyland Railroad at Discoveryland Station....
ry%3D480

ry%3D480

Great costumes on the railroad cast members!
ry%3D480

Views and stations along the way..
ry%3D480

ry%3D480

The Fantasyland Station...
ry%3D480

A view of Alice's Labyrinth from the train...
ry%3D480

And to the Main Street Station...
ry%3D480

A peek at Mom as we got off the train...
ry%3D480

And a view of Town Square from the second floor of the train station...
ry%3D480

The Euro Disney Railroad sign for the scrapbook....

ry%3D480

The Disneyland Hotel is over and around the entrance to Disneyland Paris similar to how the hotels in California are immediately along side the parks. I love that!
ry%3D480

ry%3D480

We went back to our hotel at this point and really liked our room. The hotel room in the city of Paris was tiny. Sort of like a room you would expect if staying in NYC. This room was spacious and more what we are use to. We do have very fond memories of the tiny room in Paris though.
ry%3D480

There was a shopping mall across from the hotel.
ry%3D480

There was an Asian food restaurant around the corner from the hotel that we enjoyed that evening.
ry%3D480

The next morning we were up bright and early. Mom had an early flight home and I was looking forward to a second park day....
ry%3D480

The hotel offered a nice breakfast. On our trip to Brugge, Belgium a couple of days earlier we found that we liked thebuttered french baguettes with cold cuts and tiny dill pickles. They had all the ingredients so we put them together.
ry%3D480

Mom in the lobby....
ry%3D480

And then saying goodbye at the train station. The station is right outside of Disney and it is a quick and easy ride to the airport from there. I did it the next day.

ry%3D480

More from the parks in the next entry....

Mom was on her way and it was back to Disney for me!
ry%3D480

I stopped in the World Of Disney store on my way to Disney Studios Park...
ry%3D480

My favorite Disney couple greeted me as I entered...
ry%3D480

ry%3D480

I loved this big, hot air balloon that is a centerpiece in the store...
ry%3D480

Getting a closer look at the Paris specific merchandise was at the top of my list! I did pick up one of these bags. I leave in the morning for a Disney scrapbooking weekend and I have it loaded with a Disney project to take along.
ry%3D480

I thought this Eiffel Tower cookie cutter was cute!
ry%3D480

I was back out and on my way to the park. This will give a hint about what my first attraction would be...
ry%3D480

A bit of fog this morning...
ry%3D480

I liked these markers in the walk.... My first park....
ry%3D480

Second Park....
ry%3D480

I photographed Hong Kong later which was my third park and now Paris was the 4th. Tokyo is on my list but I haven't made any plans. Maybe someday.... a girl can dream...

ry%3D480

Taking in the details along the way...
ry%3D480

When you enter this park you go through an indoor shopping and restaurant area that has an old Hollywood feel to it....
ry%3D480

ry%3D480

ry%3D480

ry%3D480

ry%3D480

ry%3D480

ry%3D480

A Partner's Statue!
ry%3D480

Sorcerer Mickey tops the Toon Studio sign....

ry%3D480

Cute little food trailers are all over this park!
ry%3D480

An animation building...
ry%3D480

And the Animagique attraction....
ry%3D480

I had a first destination in mind this morning but I continued to take in the sights along the way....

Radiator Springs....
ry%3D480

ry%3D480

Ramone's
ry%3D480

Lightning and Mater....
ry%3D480

Mater's garage...
ry%3D480

Luigi's! Love these two!
ry%3D480

Crush's Coaster was nearby ...

ry%3D480

ry%3D480

ry%3D480

Another cute food trailer! I'm not sure why that ice cream bar isn't in the shape of Mickey!
ry%3D480

The Pixar Play section...
ry%3D480

The Barrel of Monkey's welcome sign....
ry%3D480

ry%3D480

A very clever toy fence...
ry%3D480

ry%3D480

Rex and some Lincoln Logs....
ry%3D480

Super cute!
ry%3D480

And Ratatouille.... the long awaited ride!

ry%3D480

ry%3D480

It was still early and the single rider line was just 5 minutes!
ry%3D480

The queue was enjoyable....
ry%3D480

ry%3D480

ry%3D480

ry%3D480

The park's scheduled open time was 10am. I'm not sure if there were the Paris' equivalent of magic hours or not but at this point it was still 10 minutes before 10. I had quickly checked out a few park areas and was in line before I even though I'd be in the park. Big Disney Score!
ry%3D480

This part of the queue was indoors. It was made to look like you were in the roof tops...
ry%3D480

ry%3D480

ry%3D480

A peek at the ride vehicle...
ry%3D480

The ride technology didn't photograph well but it was all very cool....
ry%3D480

Bistro Chez Remy....
ry%3D480

ry%3D480

This place was absolutely adorable!
ry%3D480

ry%3D480

ry%3D480

ry%3D480

ry%3D480

ry%3D480

These cork stools are way too cute!
ry%3D480

I think the Imaganeers did their usual fantastic job on this area!

As I continued to make my way through WD Studios the cute food trucks / campers kept grabbing my attention...
ry%3D480

ry%3D480

ry%3D480

ry%3D480

There is a group of really great statues surrounding one of the animation buildings. You can probably guess that I took pics of each and every one because I can't get enough Disney details but I won't drown you in them here....
ry%3D480

Let's draw!
ry%3D480

I thought the black and white to color of this piece was very clever... I seem to be in a Pinocchio mood....
ry%3D480

This animation show was the same one shown at DHS with Mishu.....
ry%3D480

There is a very cool old Hollywood feel to sections of this park....
ry%3D480

HTH... a familiar sight...
ry%3D480

ry%3D480

More of that classic Hollywood feel...
ry%3D480

I took in the Animagique show....
ry%3D480

ry%3D480

There was a lot of time with Donald which is always a treat!!
ry%3D480

A rendition of the hat does live on....
ry%3D480

A very cute Monster's Inc area...
ry%3D480

ry%3D480

ry%3D480

ry%3D480

ry%3D480

Another familiar DHS sight to make you feel right at home....
ry%3D480

A couple more familiar favorites...RnR
ry%3D480

and the Stunt Show...
ry%3D480

Loving this park so far.... More to come soon!
ry%3D480

At WD Studios in Paris they have an experience sort of like Turtle Talk with Crush but it's a Stitch version. I always enjoy Turtle Talk and it was fun to see it in a bit different format.
ry%3D480

One of the events I was most excited for was Stars in Cars!
ry%3D480

It didn't disappoint....
ry%3D480

ry%3D480

ry%3D480

You basically stand around this big roped off circle. The characters are led in and then the greet around the circle.
ry%3D480

ry%3D480

ry%3D480

ry%3D480

ry%3D480

The do sign autographs as they make the rounds and you meet a mix of characters in a pretty short amount of time....
