Parking in San Diego

When we went, the Wyndham was all booked, we parked at Aladdin. About a mile or so from the port. They have free shuttles.

Parking at San Diego is so easy, googling can find you lots of options, all very close. Even airport parking offers shuttles to the port. Prepaid gets you the cheapest option. Like Peachypie said, we have used Wyndham and they do book up, so doing prepaid in at least a month or 2 in advance will assure you a space. It is an easy walk across a big street ( you will need to cart your own luggage) When you return, you will need to show your prepaid voucher and your parking ticket to the Hotel bell staff to get it validated to exit.

There is also a parking structure at the Springhill Suites (building is called Bric, I believe), also right across the street. We definitely prefer that structure over the tight parking spaces at the Wyndham. It is a couple dollars more though.

We used Park n Fly Lot 3. Very easy and we reserved and prepaid. Also several people from our cruise used Aladdin.

Super easy!!!

Definitely pre pay. It's cheaper. I live in SD, almost all of the lots have free shuttles. The SD airport recently built its own multi-level parking lot. Easy access, and very secure. It is however one of the more expensive options.
