Waters will be getting a little rough tomorrow...tropical depression headed this way on Saturday....

It was a total last minute decision and the trip was planned in a little over a week but DGD got her graduation trip to Disney World after all! Some good friends decided 2 weeks ago to make the trip while their 2 daughters were vacationing with DGD's in Port Aransas. DD decided "what the heck"...checked availability on a DVC villa (received an UPGRADE when they checked in!), they already had their annual passes extended and the next thing we knew they were on the way! Even got a chance to visit family in Louisiana on the way. They were amazed at the low crowds and totally impressed with the care Disney has taken to make the guest feel safe. Longest wait they had the entire time was 20 minutes for BTMRR; FoP wait averaged 10 minutes; Millennium Falcon was a "walk on" once they got through the queue; all the "mountains" averaged 10-15 minutes; even Slinky Dog was never over 15 minutes. The only time they felt "uncomfortable" with the "crowd" was at Disney Springs. The parks were amazing and cast members absolutely awesome! They'll be starting their drive home in about 3 hours, content with the memories of "one of the BEST Disney trips EVER" (in the words of youngest DGD)! (They LOVED the new "castle colors"!)

My Facebook memory for today was perfect! Youngest DGD has been "performing" since she was 3; the memory was from our local theater's summer musical 5 years ago. Tomorrow she begins training with the HIGH SCHOOL dance team for their football game performances!
