Please tell me I am miss informed

When I flew in October last year and January this year I was told I had to remove all food.

I didn't hear it come up through TSA in September at Hartford, but I didn't have any food in my carry on that day so it could just be I didn't notice.
I didn't need to take food out when flying out of Boston a few weeks ago.

Depends on the airport but they are supposed to. Niagara Falls airport always has even before the change went into effect. Including dog food. Now the big things is body wipes. They seem to like checking those out.

My pharmacist gave me a smaller empty bottle with the same label reprinted for me to carry a smaller number of pills in my purse. I just refill it from the larger bottle as needed. but it still has the label on it of what its contents are.
