Poly for 2 yr old?

Yes, yes, yes. The monorail is the place to be with a little one. The convenience of being close to MK is so great. Also, at Poly, you are close to TTC, so you can use the monorail for EPCOT, too. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. It's super.

...for the reasons stated in the above post. Monorail was the biggie.

We stayed there last year when dd was 2 and it was so great! The monorail to the MK makes it all worth it. The only negative we had was no food court like at CBR and the other Moderates. There is a snack bar, but it is burgers, salad, grill stuff. At the time DD was big into Mac and cheese and Spagetti, we found none at the Poly and ended up visting lots of other food courts. There are a couple sitdown resturants, but she wasn't great at "fine" dining. O'hanna's character breakfast is great though.

I agree with everyone else. We stayed there in 1999 with our 20-m-o DD. The monorail was definitely the best benefit. Plus, she liked the ducks that came to the window every morning. It was the first time she ever said "duck"! It was very nice. We will probably stay there again (hope to anyway)!

I agree it is great for kids. We have stayed there with our kids several times and have loved the easy transportation of the monorail and TTC in walking distance. We also found the beach a great place to view fireworks over the castle!

DD has been to DW 12 times now (she is 10) and the Poly is her favorite. She loves the ducks, walking in the sand, and laying on the beach in a hammock watching the fireworks. If we were just lounging around one afternoon she would want to ride the boat to Fort Wilderness and ride bikes or visit the petting zoo there. It is sooo convinent to so many things!

We took our at the time 2 year old to the Poly last Dec. I think she enjoyed it more than the parks. She loved riding the monorail around the loop, watching the electrical water parade, and watching the fireworks, and playing on the beach. She was afraid of the fireworks at the park, but from the beach was okay with them.

Hint: Tokelau is a fantastic building to be in unless your paying top dollar for beachfront lodgings...
