Port Canaveral Parking by transponder

Noticed in the agenda of the Port Canaveral Commission meeting for October 28th that a proposal is being considered that would provide for payment of parking fees by transponder. I couldn't tell if this has been approved/signed. Also don't know what the time-line is for this.

Oh, and I'm sure that this is just an option for those who have transponders, not a requirement for anybody to park.

A toll transponder. The garages at MCO currently offer this feature.
