We are on the July 27th 11Night Southern Caribbean sailing. It says we will be in St. Kitts from 8:30-4:45. Is 8:30 the time we can disembark or is that the time we dock? We wanted to take the ferry to Nevis and I’m just trying to see if we will have enough time. Thanks in advance.

That is the predicted all-ashore time. Of course, it can vary on the actual day based on weather, authorities clearing the ship, etc.

DCL and all ships really try to stick to the schedules. It can impact port operations and if things get really out of schedule can result in extra fees.

It is pretty early to predict but things can change even up to the last minute. Lots of things can impact when the ship will arrive including weather which can impact the ships speed and heading. Again typically they are usually pretty punctial if not occasionally a little early.

You can expect to go ashore at 0830 and must be on board no later than 4:45. Expect is the key word, never know is there is a delay by the island authority. Must be on board is an absolute unless you are on a Disney excursion, then they will wait.
