One possible replacement "crutch" is to get a gift card and pre-load it with more than you expect to spend on snacks. That way, if you go over "budget", you've still got that "pre-paid" convenience, and if you go under, you canuse the remaining balance to (partially) pay off any room charges or get an extra souvenir.
Yep. If one is truly interested in being thrifty, the gift cards can be the way to go. There are a few ways to get Disney Gift Cards discounted...most notable is if you have a Target Credit Card, you will get a 5% discount on the Disney Gift Cards. My cousin paid for most of her trip using this method. On a room at the Grand Floridian and all her food, the 5% savings was significant.
