River of Light Dessert Party

We are considering the Rivers of Light Dessert Party for our trip in early May. I haven't found much input about it. I would be interested in hearing what others have experienced, good and bad, so we can make a final decision.

Thanks to both of you for the reviews. We have decided to go ahead with the Dessert Party.

I did it in September and was a bit hesitant as I'm gluten-free and the gf options at the Hopefully Evermore Avoiding one in MK were AWFUL Erin McKenna stuff that was still cold. But ROL's party was AMAZING. The options - even for gf - were amazing. The Tiger Lily drink was delicious. And Mickey Bars!!!

The night I did it, there were thunderstorms in the area so they moved the party to the covered patio area of Flame Tree. When it was almost time for the show, we were given Disney ponchos and escorted over to the seating area (and we could take our drinks with us!). And we were able to go back after the show for more food and drinks.

I'm already booked again for my birthday!!

Thanks for your review. I have to say the photos I have seen look very enticing. We have booked the party for May 4th. It will be our one splurge on this short trip. I'm getting excited about it.
