Nice, that's where all the cool kids hang out! Did you format with the tool in post #1? Looks like you forgot closing costs. :)

I had been watching all the VGC submittals...A lot of low ball offers...Seems as if $175 is as low as they will go.

Whoops, missed the format link. Just edited original post with the correct string.
I can't believe you got everything else exactly right. Very impressive! Nevertheless, thanks for the update. Happy new year and welcome to ownership of the (obviously) best DVC resort!

So, our VGC offer cleared ROFR today. How long does the closing actually take from this point...6 weeks, 8 weeks? Also, if I need to bank my 2020 points or borrow my 2021 points, how much time will I have to do so with a June use year? I assume everything should be closed by March 1.

Figure it could take a month, depending on how quickly the sellers get the papers back.

Right now, you are in your 2019 UY so you have until Jan 31st 2021 to bank 2020 UY points. You can’t actually bank until June 1st, 2020.

If you have 2019 points, those would need banking by end of this January.
Not sure what you mean by needing to borrow. You only do that when making a reservation

Thanks Sandi...I have 176 points for 2020. Looking at November for 5 nights at VGC in a 2 bedroom so that's going to run me 260 points. I'd need to borrow 84 of my 213 points from my 2021 allotment.

Got it! Then you won’t need to bank, just borrow as soon as you close! Hoping it goes fast!

We closed on our VGC about 2 weeks after we passed ROFR. We are currently waiting for our new member number since its a new use year for us. (Which was on purpose for when we would typically use them). It’s been a couple weeks and I haven’t gotten anything from Disney yet, so I may give member services a call next week if we don’t get it by this weekend. I’m anxious to see the points in my account. It’s been about 6 weeks from when we offered to now. It went quick.

@montreid , You are the AUL-SUBSIDIZED-September Specialist! What a great contract you scored here!

Worth the extra time closing these Hawaii contracts!
