Going on dcl from San Juan, where to stay night before cruise?

If I had only one night I'd probably stay at the Embassy Suites, or perhaps at what I think is a Hyatt very close to panamerican pier where you will embark.

Or maybe I'd do it up right and go with El Convento in Old San Juan.

We stayed at the Sheraton hotel and casino. My husband won $1500 at the casino and I enjoyed the beautiful pool. The cab to port was $15.

If you like unique boutique hotels, go with Acacia boutique hotel. Very quaint. Beautiful architecture.

I would highly recommend the Hyatt House Hotel. The staff was fabulous, the rooms and common areas were beautiful and in excellent shape and it was super convenient. We watched the Wonder pull into port from our room on the morning of departure. Oh...the free made to order omelette were delicious!
